PORN  BANNED IN INDIA

Hey, we are hearing these days, Porn websites have been banned.!!! What these all about?

Here we go….

India a great populated nation appears to have banned porn, ordering internet service providers to turn off access to adult websites, dating pages and pornographic blogs. Internet users are trying access these pages over the weekends have found that they are unavailable, apparently following a request from the Indian government. The ban is also included with adult dating sites and porn blogs, according to reports.

A list of the banned sites includes many Friend Finder who is Adult and a hugely-popular site to let the people find sexual partners and Flesh-bot, a porn blog that writes about news as well as showing highly explicit porn pictures. This ban includes 857 sites all over the world that publish their content in India.  Last year, they banned 32 sites, including popular sites like Vimeo, Github and DailyMotion, under Section 69A of the IT Act. The ban was lifted after a month, but some continue to be in the blocked list.

Order to block these sites was received late night on Friday and asked the bans to be put in place ASAP and the headline news shown in newspapers on Saturday. Banned sites URL’s display to the net browsers (people)  in different ways depending on the internet service provider conveniences, either showing a message letting users know that the site is “blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India”, or just not displaying a ERROR Message at all on the screen. Monday brings bad news to the India-based lovers of former Gawker Media blog Fleshbot. Porn is now banned in India. So are some racier corners of the online dating world, apparently.

The reason for the ban is not entirely clear. India-based news outlet Hindustan Times cited government sources that claim the government forced ISPs to block the pornographic sites after they were "reviewed and found to be spreading anti-social activities." Another source told Quartz India that the government is not "challenging anybody's right to see the content," but rather to challenge their ability to "show the content." Regardless, the ban again puts the spotlight on the place pornography takes in India and whether the country of nearly 1.3 billion people should have easy access to such content.

According to data from Porn hub, one of the world’s biggest porn sites, India ranks in fifth place for the most daily visitors to the website. The website saw a total of 78.9 billion video views globally in 2014.

Even though the sites were blocked few porn CD/DVD sellers or who give it out for rent are very happy because of the ban on Porn Sites due to which they are selling/renting a copy of CD/DVD to Rs. 300/500. Previously in those days it used to be Rs.50/100.., Reports from the sources.
Although there has been talk of banning porn websites in the country, the Supreme Court recently declined a plea to pass an interim order to block porn websites in India. "Such interim orders cannot be passed by this court. Somebody may come to the court and say look I am above 18 and how can you stop me from watching it within the four walls of my room. It is a violation of Article 21 [right to personal liberty]," Chief Justice H.L. Dattu reportedly said last month.
Without transparency about whose orders the blocks are coming on, or what laws are being used for the blocks, we are left in a situation where any content could easily be banned. Today, it is pornography which is not a popular subject to publicly fight for; however these same laws could be used to secretly take down any kinds of content, which is why the entire process needs to be more transparent.

If the Government has to stop such things in future they have to follow few steps that will make the people to forget it completely. For Example if you drag a chocolate from a baby/boy, they will cry to the extent that they try achieving them by crying or doing some fight with the situations. But you can try the other way by,, since the websites are many available in the Internet stop one after the other without making them do hiss’s and piss's ssss in the dragging.

AT Last it ended with banning the child porn. We should say
PORN BANNED IN INDIA ONLY HALF OR QUARTER .........
